Community Involvement and Responsibility

Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale Company has long been a proud supporter and charitable partner of various organizations within the Pittsburgh community.

Dedicated in 1988, the Frank B. Fuhrer M.R.I. wing at Shadyside Hospital is a center for advanced diagnostic treatment in the fight against cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The Fuhrer Wholesale Company was the major funding source for the Western Pennsylvania Firefighters memorial, which was dedicated on September 2, 1995, and is located in the Voegtly Evangelical Church Cemetery in Troy Hill.

Frank B. Fuhrer was the major funding source and continues to support the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, located in Clemente Park on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. The memorial is dedicated to the memory of Allegheny County law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
